ACAP-SPA Executive Committee Now Recruiting

E-mail Print

Attention all Student Paramedics. My name is Pauline Murcott and I am the newly elected SPA Director. I have a profound appreciation for SPA and its importance as a catalyst to guide National development for Student Paramedic initiatives. The SPA Committee is comprised of 14 Paramedic students, and aims to represent the spectrum of a diverse student body – including undergraduate, postgraduate, metropolitan and regional students from all states and territories in Australia. As Director, I strive to empower the SPA Executive Committee members by providing guidance, support and encouragement to implement SPA initiatives. If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who thrives on hard-work, I encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest form for the following portfolios:

Executive Roles: Co-Chair, Administration, National Coordinator, Communications, Program Development and Community Engagement.

Sub-Executive Roles: Community Alliances, Rural and Remote Health Initiatives, Publications, Web Editor, Conference Committee and Sponsorship.

Being a member of the SPA Committee is a GREAT achievement – it involves team work, leadership, communication and interaction. We believe the rewards of being involved with SPA are endless, and provide a great experience framework for students entering the workforce.

Who Can Apply

Any student enrolled in a full-time or part-time Paramedic degree, including undergraduate or postgraduate studies (honours, masters etc.) can apply. Graduate Paramedics who have recently completed or expect to complete an undergraduate degree and are currently undertaking a graduate or internship program will also be considered.

Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it your Expression of Interest by Friday 27th August, 2010.
