May we present to you the following paper and presentation winners from the 2010 Conference in Perth:

SPA are particularly proud of our Director, Pauline Murcott, who amongst all her other amazing and time consuming work, managed to win best undergraduate student paper presentation this year!

APEHRF (David Komesaroff) Paper winner:

Kate Cantwell won the APEHRF (David Komesaroff) best paper for her research paper titled Importance of pre-hospital blood pressure post ROSC on survival to hospital discharge and wins a trip to present her research at an overseas destination EMS conference.

Best paper in the category Higher Degree by Research:

The winner for this award was Brett Williams for his paper titled Validation of the paramedic graduate attribute scale (PGAS): a Rasch rating analysis. Best paper in the category

Undergraduate Student Presentation

This year’s award went to Pauline Murcott for her presentation titled: Community perceptions of the professional status of the paramedic discipline.

Poster Presentations:

Over 30 posters were submitted to the conference, and the best poster was awarded to Jennifer Melvin for her presentation of Pre-shock CPR: Should we do it?.
