October Club Red Competition Update

Congratulations to UTASSPA (ROZELLE), leading the way in this years SPA Club RED Challenge with an amazing 10 (20% of students donationing). The leader board as it stands;

  1. UTASSPA (ROZELLE) (University of Tasmania – Sydney)
  2. SPU (Queensland University of Technology)
  3. SOAPS (Edith Cowan University)

We have new leader! UTASSPA (Rozelle) in their first year in the competition has streaked to the lead – just. Ahead of SPU and SOAPS a very close third. Its amazing how close the challenge is getting. SO KEEPING DONATING. The challenge still has two months left, there’s plenty of time to get your team across the line.

To help show your support of a most worthy cause, and help your student society show they are the best life savers in the nation, contact the blood bank and donate now. There are blood bank donation sites based throughout Australia, so there’s bound to be close to you.

To make the most of this opportunity, and start saving lives even before you’re qualified, follow these three simple and easy steps:

  1. Call 13 14 95 to make an appointment at your nearest donor centre.
  2. Upon donation, write you society name and SPA club RED challenge and you donation will be added to your societies tally
  3. Donate!

Yes, its that easy! And you can donate more than once – every three months if you like. For those of you who haven’t joined just yet, but are willing and able, it is not too late to start saving lives. Simply follow the steps above to help show that your society are the best life savers.
